Isara Moriya ’28 and Yuki Nagura ’28 will be pursuing their project, “Bridging issei and us through a picture-sound book,” in Japan, focusing on closing the informational and cultural gap between Japanese Americans and Japanese people’s experience of World War II.
Majd AlSehnawi ’28 will be pursuing a proposal called “Project Ma'man,” which will focus on providing accessible mental health support for people in rural villages in Syria, specifically sexual assault victims.
Projects for Peace is a global program that encourages young adults to develop innovative and community-centered responses to the world’s most pressing issues, establishing their identities as peacebuilders and changemakers.
