Student Life provides guidance and resources to support your success in and beyond the classroom. Across our many offices and programs, we work to champion your academic accomplishments, cultivate your personal growth and well-being, and enhance the quality of your life on campus.

Helping You Flourish
The departments, offices, and programs comprising Student Life provide a wide range of services intended to complement and enhance your academic experience.
The Office of Student Life coordinates Reed’s network of student support services, helping students and community members address challenges and advance positive change.
The Office of Academic Support offers peer tutoring, writing support, workshops, and individualized coaching to enrich and support students in their academic experience.
Athletics, Fitness & Outdoor Programs
Athletics, Fitness & Outdoor Programs oversees Reed’s physical education department, club sports, the Reed ski cabin, Gray Fund recreational events, and the Reed Outing Club.
Community Safety provides campus and safety services 24 hours a day, including emergency response, door unlocks, and escort services. Community Safety Officers (CSOs) are trained staff who can receive, investigate, and respond to safety and security concerns.
Reed’s Health and Counseling Center (HCC) provides primary care medical services, medication consultation and management, counseling, and an array of wellness services, including consultation for stress management.
International Student Services
International Student Services (ISS) provides resources and programs that allow international students to acclimate to life in the United States and thrive at Reed.
Residence Life facilitates a residential experience for students that supports their academic pursuits, personal growth, and participation in an interdependent community. Bon Appétit Management Company operates the college’s food service program.
Sexual Health, Advocacy & Relationship Education
SHARE is Reed’s student-driven, trauma-informed, and survivor-centered program to provide resources, services, and information about both healthy sexuality and relationships and sexual and relationship violence prevention.
The Office for Student Engagement (OSE) provides experiences and programs throughout the year that build community and connection, facilitate transition and belonging, complement the academic program, and nurture students’ self-discovery and holistic development.
Student Rights & Responsibilities
The Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities (OSRR) provides broad oversight of the college’s student accountability processes in a community governed by the Honor Principle.
The Student Support office provides information about campus policies, procedures, and campus life, and works closely with students, faculty, staff, and families to address challenges, eliminate obstacles, promote well-being and thriving, and connect students to helpful resources.
Reeds Title IX / Section 504 office oversees and provides leadership for activities related to Title IX compliance, training, investigations, enforcement, response, and reporting.
