Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - noon and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

What I Do:

• Utilize advanced threat detection tools to identify and respond to potential security breaches
• Collaborate with IT administrators for timely patching and vulnerability mitigation
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate pen testing to identify and remediate security related weaknesses
• Recommend and support the integration of security solutions into the organization's overall IT architecture
• Provide cybersecurity training and awareness programs to educate the Reed community on security best practices
• Communicate relevant emerging cyber threat information to the team and to stakeholders
• Develop and support implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, standards and regulations
• Work closely with department compliance officers and address regulatory requirements including IAM & Data Governance
• Create and provide cybersecurity reports for directors and executive leadership
• Budget management responsibilities related to cybersecurity initiatives including vendor management
• Respond to security incidents as needed, which may include evenings and/or weekends
